Benefit Drive
Hello everyone
This is Jason Greschaw i am having a BENIFIT GOODS DRIVE April 6th from 8am to 12 pm at the SERING AMERICAN LEGION in of course sebring ohio.
This goods drive will be for BATTALION UNIT#42502 currently serving in Iraq. He is a friend of mine that i went to school with and is from deerfield ohio. I got the idea from a phone conversation were he stated that he was stuffing as much charmin toilet paper in his bag as he could fit. And the idea just began to grow and i stated that i would like to have a benefit drive for his BATTALION.He had a meeting with his MARINES on Tuesday march 10th and they came up with this list . Any help u can give me to pass on to these 83 men that are serving our country. please email me if you would like to help. monetary donations can be forwarded to hunington bank for a account that was set up to pay for the shipping cost. the united states post office states that it will cost $1 a pound to ship to IRAQ.
Thanks again
Jason Greschaw

Jason,
Here is the list that some of my Marines came up with, if you could get any of this it would really be a big boost to the Marines.
Foot Powder
Q-Tips
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Cigarettes (Marlboro Lights mainly)
Smokeless Tobacco (Skoal, Copenhagen)
Beef Jerky
Slim Jims
Miscellaneous Snacks
Magazines/Books
Movies
Hand Sanitizer
Soap
Shampoo
Deodorant
Smell Good Stuff
Lotion
Easy-Mac
Canned Soups
Kool-Aid mix
Gatorade Mix
Charmin Toilet Paper
That should about do it. Once again if you can get some of these items that would be great. This really means a lot to me Jason. I think this is totally awesome that you are even considering doing this. You honestly have no idea how much the Marines will love this. We have a saying that there are 3 things that the Marines live for: Chow, Sleep, and Mail. It is totally awesome to see how happy they get when they get care packages and mail from the states. The address is as follows:
GySgt Kevin Whitehead
1st INTEL BN. P&A CO.
Unit 42502
FPO AP 96426-2502
Once I get anything I will make sure to disburse it too my Marines. One thing to remember though do not send Pornography. If they look through the box (as they do from time to time) they will not send it on to us. Also, no alcohol is allowed either. I know it sounds weird, but there is no alcohol allowed in Iraq. We will get in serious trouble. I will send you an e-mail once I get over there with my actual work e-mail account. It should be about 2 weeks after we leave on Saturday. Thanks again Jason this is awesome.
Kevin
